patato pakora recipe

 My favorite potato pakora recipe :

Growing up in Pakistan, potato pakora was a staple snack in our household. my mother would make it for special occasions, and the aroma of the crispy fried potatoes would fill the entire house.

Today, I'm excited to share my own version of this beloved recipe with you. Here's how I make it.


Ingredients:


    1. 2 Large potatoes 
    2. Cabbage (optional for extra crunch)
    3. Green onion (optional)
    4. 2 table spoon pakora masala
    5. 1 cup gram flour
    6. 1 teaspoon salt
    7. 1/2 cup water
    8.  Vegetable oil for frying
    9. 2 Green chillies
    10. Coriander


recipe:

  1. peeled and cut the potato in to thin slice .
  2. chop cabbage.
  3. soak potato and cabbage is cold water for 5 minutes.
  4. mix gram flour with pakora masala and salt.
  5. now mix dry ingredients with vegetables.
  6. add water gradually and mix them well.
  7. you can also put green onion at this stage.
  8. heat oil in the deep frying pan over medium heat .now put coated potatoes in the oil. cook them until golden brown.
  9. when it's down remove the extra oil and  serve hot potatoes pakora with green sauce.


tips:
  •  choose high starch potatoes .
  • don't overmix the batter. Over mixing can lead to dense pakora.
  • adjust the spicy level.
