Chowmein recipe

Today, I'm excited to share with you my most loved chowmein recipe, passed down by my family and perfected over the years. let's cook with me.






Ingredients:

  1.  1 Package of chowmein noodles
  2. 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  3. 1 Onion chopped
  4. 2 Cups of mixed vegetables (capsicum, cabbage, carrots)
  5. 1 Cup of boiled or fried chicken
  6. 2 Teaspoon soy sauce
  7. 2 Teaspoon chili sauce
  8. 1 Teaspoon vinegar
  9. Salt and black pepper to taste
                   
       Recipe:
                               

  •  Cook the noodles in hot boiling water for around 5-6 minutes
  • Heat vegetable oil in frying pan over medium heat
  • Add onion until golden brown
  • Add vegetables and cook for 2 minutes then add cubes of chicken and mix it with vegetables and cook for 2 minutes
  • Add salt,  black pepper ,soy sauce ,chili sauce and vinegar
  • Add noodles and mixed them all
  • Dish out in plate and enjoy your chowmein.
 tips:
use your favorite protein or add tofu 
serve with sliced green onions and sesame seeds
